It occurs to me that I never posted my Bibliobop playlist. Here’s to hoping this falls into the better-late-than-never category!
I used to burn the mix to a CD, and play on the PA system in our large meeting room. It worked just fine; but earlier this year, my boss purchased an ipod touch for the department. (WAHOO!) They both work fine, but the ipod makes it much easier to add new songs to the playlist. Plus, it means I am not limited to 25 (or so) songs.
Below, you’ll find my current 50-song “Master Mix”. For the most part, I try to keep a balance of new and familiar songs. I begin (see *) and end (see **) with the same songs every time. For everything in between I hit shuffle, and leave it up to fate. Enjoy!

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I discovered your blog and post about “Bibliobop” in May and was so excited to try it at my library. We had our first one on June 23rd and it was a huge hit! I tweaked it a little because I didn’t read a story before we got started and I used mostly kid-friendly and fun adult music and it was a blast! I noticed you hadn’t posted in awhile and would check back every now and again but never saw any new posts and assumed you’d gotten too busy to keep up with your blog. I’m working today and going through my bookmarked blogs, clicked on yours by accident and here you are! So glad to see you are back. I read your previous posts and I’m sorry to hear about your thyroid. I hope you continue to do well. Thank you again for the great idea. We are having our next one in a couple of weeks.

I’m so glad your dance party was a success! Most fun thing ever, right? I sometimes skip the story, esp. when the kids seem like they can’t wait to get the party started. And thanks for the good wishes. it’s really nice to be back to normal, like i have an actual person-brain in my head, and not just a big bowl full of old oatmeal.
